Day 01 : Delhi to Gaya. Arrival in Bodhgaya - Mahabodhi Temple & Mahabodhi Tree

Pick up from railway station/Airport and check-in to hotel. Post lunch; visit Lord Buddha’s Temple (Mahabodhi Temple). Explore other Local Sightseeing of Bodhgaya like Bodhi Tree under which Lord Buddha got enlightenment and Buddhist Monasteries.
The Mahabodhi Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and world famous Buddhist Pilgrimage place in India built adjacent to the site of enlightenment in the 6th century AD.
Drive back to Bodhgaya. Overnight stay at hotel in Bodhgaya. 

Day 2 : Bodhgaya - Local Sightseeing - Dungeshwari Caves Bodhgaya (40KM - 30 Min)

After breakfast, we drive to Gaya. En-route visit Dungeshwari Caves also called Mahakala Caves. Lord Buddha underwent years of penance here before he descended to Bodhgaya. A path across the river and up to the temples is 9KM from Bodhgaya on the road to Gaya. Visit other Local Sightseeing of Bodhgaya like Sujata Village Temple and Buddhist Monasteries.

Return back to Bodhgaya. Overnight stay at hotel in Bodhgaya. 

Day 03 : Bodhgaya- Varanasi (300km-06 hrs.)

After breakfast, drive to Varanasi, check-in at hotel. In evening, get ready to experience one of the most memorable moments of your life, as you will be taken for world famous Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Get a glimpse of the cultural diversity and social and religious activities being carried out at the Ganga Ghats. B

Day 04 : Varanasi - Morning Boat Ride - Sarnath - (12 Hrs, 30 Min) - first sermon place of Lord Buddha at Deer Park

Early morning feel spirituality of Subah-e-Banaras in Varanasi in which you will enjoy Morning Boat Ride in the Ganges during Sunrise. Experience the different Ghats of Varanasi. Each Ghat has its own history and value. Come back to hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, we will be taken for an excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath, located just 8 miles from Varanasi, is the site where Gautama Buddha gave his first sermon (preaching) after his enlightenment. Sarnath is one of four holy Buddhist sites sanctioned by the Buddha himself for pilgrimage. 

In Sarnath, we visit the ruins of a stupa that dated back to 200 B.C. There is also the Ashokan Pillar to mark the site. Also, visit the Sarnath Archeological Museum. The museum also houses some of the greatest treasures of Indian Buddhist art, including almost 300 images. Six national temples have been built by various Asian communities a Sarnath since the site's restoration, including a Tibetan temple and Sri Lankan temple. Return back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi. B

Day 05: Varanasi - Kushinagar (300km- 06 hrs.)

After breakfast, drive to Kushinagar. Kushinagar is the place where Buddha passed into Nirvana.

Arrive Kushinagar & check in at hotel. Later visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple. In the ruins various ancient monasteries which were founded during the 5th century AD. The temple is famous for its 6.10 meters long statue of Lord Buddha. Next, visit the Ramabhar Stupa (cremation site of Lord Buddha) that marks the place where Lord Buddha received the Mahaparinirvana or the Final emancipation. The 15 meters high stupa is one of the major attractions in Kushinagar. 

Overnight stay at night in Kushinagar.

Day 06: Kushinagar- Lumbini Drop (200KM-04 hrs.)

After breakfast, we drive to Lumbini about 7 hours,  the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Overnight in hotel at Lumbini in Nepal

Lord Buddha was born at Lumbini while his mother was on her way to parental home from Kapilvastu. Lumbini should be visited and seen by a person of devotion, Lumbini is the Mecca of every Buddhist, being one of the four holy places of Buddhism.

Day 07 : Sightseeing of Kapilbastu

After breakfast in hotel. Full day sightseeing of Kapilbastu - Buddhist temples, monastery and religious activities. Overnight in hotel at Lumbini.Visit Maya Devi Temple - Lumbini remained neglected for centuries. In 1895, Feuhrer, a famous German archaeologist, discovered the great pillar,further exploration and excavation of the surrounding area revealed the existence of a brick temple and a sandstone sculpture within the temple itself which represents the scenes of Buddha’s birth. On the south of the Maya Devi temple there is the famous sacred bathing pool known as Puskarni. It is believed that Maha Devi took a bath in this pool before the delivery. The temple is built gradually and is composed of many temples, one after the other. It is also found that there is possibility that a Ashoka Stupa existed in the place of temple.

Day 08 : Fly to Kathmandu

After breakfast fly to Kathmandu in the morning you will be welcomed and received on your arrival at Airport, Kathmandu by our staff member. You will then be transferred and checked into hotel

And we will do some exploration in Kathmandu Visit the UNESCO CULTURAL HERITAGE  sites 

Swoyambhunath - The oldest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu Valley, a beautiful abode for lots of monkeys thus also known as Monkey Temple, is also a perfect vantage point to see Kathmandu valley.

Patan Durbar Square- A Medieval Royal Palace area which is also known as the city of fine arts, we can see the finest example of metal and stone carving back to 14th century and also the amazing Nepali Architecture.

Evening we can join cultural show and dinner.  

Day 09 : Departure to Sri Lanka

Today is our last day of the tour so we will transfer you to airport  ( if we have time can visit Pashupatinath Temple also) for the departure to home.
