Day 01 of your journey begins at Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya, a holy ground steeped in history where pilgrims believe the temple to have been hallowed during the third and final visit to the land by Lord Buddha. After partaking in Sacred Buddhist Rituals and receiving blessings from the Monk, a moment to sit on the temple grounds to meditate under the Bodhi Tree where you will feel a deep spiritual connection to yourself and the energies around you.

Day 02 of the Purification Journey begins with a visit to the tallest stupa in Sri Lanka. According to historians, Jetavanaramaya was built by King Mahasena, the ruler of the island similar to the structure of the pyramids in Ancient Egypt to make it a stupa protecting sacred relics of Lord Buddha & retain the focal energy. Experience Buddhist Rituals & Offerings and during this path to purification, allow yourself to reflect deeper with a guided meditation where you can pause and focus solely on listening and breathing.

Day 03 of your path to purification begins with guided meditation next to the Sacred Sri Maha bodhi which is said to be the southern branch from the Sri Maha Bodhi at Buddhagaya under which it is believed that Lord Buddha attained Enlightenment. On Day 04 your Virtual Spiritual Journey, we will be taking a hike to Sela Cetiya, one of the oldest stupas on the island and one of the 16 places of worship in the sacred city of Anuradhapura. You will comb through a dense and untamed forest by taking an untouched footpath with a Naturalist. The close encounter with nature is a beautiful serenade that is overpowering with peacefulness and restfulness.

Legend has it that the war of Rama and Rawana took place in Badulla and it was the capital when Emperor Rawana was ruling the island. Muthiyanganaya Raja Maha Viharaya lies in the center of this town surrounded by the extremity of the hills. It is believed that Lord Buddha visited the grounds of Badulla on the invitation of King Indaka and he then built this stupa to enshrine the sacred moment.

The brightest colors, sense of peace & stillness, and acts of piety are what make Kataragama the most important pilgrimage site on the island. On Day 09 of your virtual spiritual journey, you encounter the deepened connection between many individuals of different beliefs who seek spirituality within themselves. It is believed that King Dutugemunu built a shrine to Kataragama Deviyo and many from around South Asia visit the temple complex.
