When our lives are filled with work and family responsibilities, many more other day-to-day duties, we need to have space for ourselves.

What I have realized over the past few years is the fact that "space for your own self" and "Loving your self" is much needed, not just because we are selfish but there is a broader aspect to that. Giving a little break to integrate with yourself will help you to heal, focus and be happy and this will also help the people around us.

We need to feel good about ourselves first to take care of our loved ones.

After few hectic few months of work, when not feeling so great with health I believe is the time to "Take a break".

Ubudu still remains traditional with the Hindu belief of gods & goddesses. Amidst Small water falls, water streams on both sides of the road, tiny roads (not carpeted), Wu Wei is located in the middle of the jungle. A small path way leads me to this lovely sanctuary. Colorful flora & fauna, sound of birds chirping and the fresh breath coming through the jungle overwhelmed me with calmness and relaxation.

Having morning yoga practice on the lawn, covered with green while listening to the sound of river is one of the best experiences I would not forget. In one clear early morning, sky was covered with stars and I was lucky enough to spot 3 shooting start. It was simply magical.

The world is changing! we are moving from concrete jungles to more natural, eco friend architecture. Lovely sanctuary is built in a homely atmosphere surrounded by pools and water falls. The sound of the nature keeps reminding you that you are far away from busy city life.

The whole experience gets better when I come across the rose quartz salt water pool. Where else you would want to dip your self and spend a relaxing evening?

We had some yoga and meditation sessions at the temple where I not only found peace and harmony but felt heaps of positive energy throughout the sessions.

The sanctuary is equipped with spacious bedrooms which comes with your own bath tub to dip and relax after a full day of wellness activities. I was amazed by the fact that every corner of this gorgeous retreat was thoughtfully made.

All year round this sacred space is surrounded by like wellness gurus and like minded wellness seekers which I think creates powerful positive vibes throughout the sanctuary and makes it a great space for wellness retreats.

I was blessed to have the retreat with Ajeet kaur, Kundalini yoga musician who offers amazing healing music.

I’m amazed with the delicious vegetarian dishes I had throughout the week, where never remember to have any meat items neither coffer nor tea. Starting the day with herbal juices and teas, by adding herbs and flowers from the garden, tropical fruits to compliment with was a wonderful experience.

Chef was also a yoga teacher who made every dish with love and kindness, while the healing music was playing in the background. We blessed our food before each meal which made it to be absolutely tasty while it was healing us inside & out.

Sanctuary arranged me to experience the beautiful local culture by taking us to water temple in the middle of the jungle , where I experienced the local traditions, beliefs and much more. It is believed that water falls will clear the negative energy in you. A visit to Ubud town surprised me with all most all the restaurants offering healthy and organic meals. organic coffee and shops with beautiful yoga clothes.

Leaving the beautiful retreat with lots of positive energy helped me to get back to my daily routine with much higher vibrations, which made me realize that the healing has definitely begun.
